The courtyard is a bright and inviting spot to unwind, providing a picturesque setting that you can enjoy while sipping welcome cocktails. The rooms are cozy, with charming colonial features like tiled floors and fireplaces that add character.
Showers can be a bit of a hassle, taking ages to warm up, requiring patience that might test your fortitude. Some rooms face directly into others, compromising privacy and making you feel a little cramped. Additionally, the breakfast buffet could use an upgrade, with fewer imaginative choices and somewhat lackluster quality.

The hotel offers a complimentary cocktail upon arrival, which is a lovely touch that sets a welcoming tone for the stay.
Unfortunately, the toilet in our room was clogged upon our arrival, and while it was eventually fixed, it did impact our first impressions.

I loved the charming colonial atmosphere of Diego De Mazariegos. The hotel features beautifully maintained areas with a stunning courtyard that adds to the overall charm. My room was spacious, decorated with colonial-style furniture, and very clean. The bed offered an amazing comfort, ensuring a restful night. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious and abundant with a wide variety of items. However, while the location is fantastic, being so close to the main square, noise from the street was disruptive, especially at night. The sound of vehicles and late-night conversations echoed through my room, making sleep challenging. Also, the Wi-Fi connection was weak at times, which was frustrating. Although the cleanliness and beauty of the hotel were strong points, the noise issues and connectivity need serious consideration for improvement.

The lady at the front desk went above and beyond, checking us in early and making us feel right at home. The cozy courtyard is a perfect spot to chill with a drink, and the rooftop view at sunset is absolutely stunning. A little noise from the street was a minor hiccup, but it didn’t take away from our lovely stay. 🌅

Had an awesome trip with friends! The room was spacious and comfy, and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety, including made-to-order omelets. We walked to the market and enjoyed restaurants nearby, which was super convenient. The vibe in the courtyard is perfect for chilling after a day of exploring.
The only issue was that we encountered a bit of a walk with our luggage since there are no lifts, and some areas are far from reception.

I really enjoyed my stay! The cozy room with a fireplace was perfect for chilly evenings, and the buffet breakfast, especially the made-to-order omelettes, was a standout. However, I did miss having regular bread available, which would have enhanced the dining experience. I would definitely choose this place again!

charming stay with minor inconveniences
The colonial design of the room was lovely, providing both comfort and character. I particularly enjoyed the cozy fireplace, which added a warm ambiance to the space. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were impressive. the wide selection, especially the eggs with mole, made each morning delightful. I appreciated the array of local dining and activity recommendations provided by the restaurant manager, which greatly enhanced my experience during my stay.
The only drawback was the noise from the street at night, which disrupted my sleep on several occasions.
